COVID 19 Actions

MIJARC Asia is involving in covid 19 activities in MIJARC Tamil Nadu, MIJARC Telugu and Karnataka India. We distributed groceries to the poor workers and migrant workers. The beneficiaries were very happy and thankful to the MIARC Tamilnadu for their support in the real crisis.

1. Interventions at Marakkanam
0n October 16th, 2021, on world food day we distributed groceries to the need poor people. We followed our MIJARC methodology “see, Judge, Act” Our Coordinators along with volunteers identified the problem of needy people in marakkanam village and We decided to Act at this crucial situation. MIJARC ASIA selected 35 poor families and gathered them in the church community hall. We explained them how Covid -19 impacted the lives of the poor people, we taken measures to distribute the groceries. Parish priest Rev.Fr. George and MIJARC ASIA coordinators and Volunteers were attended for this distribution.

We are living in utter poverty and starvation while our children are struggling with hunger at this time of Pandemic. However, we are we are so glad that our children have been helped to satiate their hunger through MIJARC ASIA distribution of goods.
